** Should be B.TECH/B.E. in Mechanical.
a) Should have dealt with procurement /executing contracts of Mechanical items/ Goods and services, Consultancy service such as Coal Handling Plant, Ash Handling Plant, FOHS, Different type of Valve, Elevator,EOT crane, FDPS, Pump, CW ACW piping, Gates, DM Plant, Heat Exchanger, Air compressor, Ventilation system, etc., for Sub Critical and Super Critical Power Plant / Large Industrial Sector Project.
b) First-hand experience in EPC based power project.
c) Commercial understanding of the business drivers and their implications.
d) Review of technical specification, Preparation of RFQ, Tendor Documrents ,invitation of bids, commercial evaluation, conducting pre-award meetings and finalization, Preparation of NFA/PCM, PO / SO.
e) Approval of billing break-up.
g) Post Order activities including timely delivery of goods ,Payment Process, bank guarantees, Contract Amendments (if any) till contract closure.
h) Strong Interpersonal , communication and Negotiation skills
i) Should have experience in Vendor management and Vendor Database of Mechanical Product/Services/BOP for Power project.
j) Market Analysis for Procurement of Services & Goods.
k) Should have in depth Knowledge of Taxation, Import, High sea sale, Sale in Transit, Inco terms.
l) Risk Analysis and Mitigation
m) Estimation, Clean sheet costing for Electrical equipmemt and Ele BOP Packages.
n) Developing and Maintaining performance ratings of Suppliers / Contractors.
o) Claim Management, Drafting of GCC, SCC, PPA etc,
p) Cost effective sourcing.
q) Commercial terms of contracting, legal, requisites of tendering
r) Expected to draft, review and approve highly complex statements of work, change orders, amendments and addendums.
s)Adds value to the transactions assigned to the team when necessary
Should have worked in atleast one full execution project (Till Contract Closer) of 250MW plant capacity and above.
